Benjamin C. Garcia

Benjamin C. Garcia is an associate at the personal injury law firm Osborne & Francis. A proficient and knowledgeable attorney with a proven record of success in helping his clients, he was born in Manhattan, New York. At the age of seven, he and his family relocated to Orlando, Florida where he graduated from Oak Ridge High School. As a student athlete, Benjamin’s track coach taught him a vital lesson that has remained with him through life – “The Three D’s,” which are determination, dedication, and discipline. As a proud two-time “Rattler,” Benjamin earned his bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees from Florida A&M University.

During his studies at FAMU College of Law, he gained years of valuable hands-on experience at a prominent personal injury law firm, where he began his legal career. At Osborne & Francis, he practices in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, and negligent security.

Benjamin’s passion for uplifting the community led him to co-found Life Beyond Adversity, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to alter the vision, progress, and experiences of urban youth. In 2020, Benjamin and a law school classmate established the “FAMUly First Generation Law Student Scholarship,” an annual award that provides two $1,500 scholarships to first-generation law students at FAMU College of Law during their first year. Additionally, Benjamin is a member of numerous professional and civic organizations, including: the National Bar Association, Florida Justice Association, Orange County Bar Association, and the Delta Xi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Lastly, he is a past president of the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association and currently serves as President-Elect of the Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter National Bar Association.
