Reed Blair

Reed currently serves as Associate General Counsel for Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company. Reed is a trial attorney, litigating various First and Third Party insurance disputes.

Previously, Reed pursued criminal trial defense at the Orlando and Tampa Public Defender’s Office, serving Florida’s indigent population in both County and Circuit Courts.

Prior to becoming a Florida Attorney Reed studied at Brown University, gaining degrees in Both Africana Studies and Political Science. Reed is active in the Tampa Bay community, previously serving on the George Edgecomb Bar Association's Executive Board as Press Secretary. Notably Reed Received the George Edgecomb Bar Association Bar Prep Scholarship as a law school student at Stetson University College of Law. Reed also sits on the Visit Tampa Bay's Multicultural Advisory Committee, supporting diversity in Tampa's tourism industry. Reed too volunteers in Tampa through community initiatives with his Fraternity Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Reed was recently named a Florida Bar Wm. Reece Smith Jr. Leadership Academy Fellow for 2023-2024 .
